Kendall King—Gospel Music IndustryÕs Best Kept Secret

Kendall King is the recipient of the 2006 Newsome Gospel Award for ÒBest CD Packaging of the Year.Ó The awards show took place on August 26, 2006, at the Chesapeake Arts Center in Baltimore, MD. Hosted by Alfonso Freeman, gospel recording artist and son of actor Morgan Freeman; and Doresa Harvey, the #1 midday gospel announcer on Baltimore's Heaven 600 AM, the show featured powerful performances from Kitra Williams, from TD Jakes' "Woman Thou Art Loosed," Stellar Award winner Minister Calvin Bridges, James Hall and the Citadel Choir, and DC's own El Shaddai.

In addition to being a phenomenal producer and songwriter, Kendall is an awesome graphic designer. Her project, ÒFor a ReasonÓ is well designed and demonstrates excellence and attention to detail. She is not only passionate about her music but she feels that ÒÉ itÕs so important that we give as much attention to the design and quality of the packaging and promotional materials as we give to the music production. If the secular community puts time and money into the look and design of their products, the gospel community should do even more because our work is a tribute to God and He deserves the very best.Ó

KendallÕs extraordinary skills are demonstrated in every facet of her project, ÒFor a Reason.Ó To see additional samples of her graphic work and hear her music visit www.kkproductions.biz.
